LolyTales is operated by Red Web Studio, a company registered in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it. Questions go to contact@redwebstudio.com.

LolyTales accounts are created and controlled by parents or guardians (18+) — children never sign up, log in, or submit information themselves. Any details about your child (their name, age range, pronouns, and favorite things) are entered by you, used only to personalize the stories we generate for your family, and can be changed or removed at any time by contacting us.

From you, the parent or guardian:

• Your email address, used to sign in and for account-related communication
• Subscription and billing status (e.g. trial, active) — your card details are never seen or stored by us; Stripe handles payment directly

About your child, entered by you:

• First name, age range, pronouns, and any “favorite things” you choose to share

Generated for your family:

• The story text and audio we create based on the above

We use this information solely to operate LolyTales: generating personalized stories and audio, running your subscription, and contacting you about your account when needed. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers (“processors”) to run LolyTales, each only with the access they need to do their job:

• Supabase — hosts our database, handles account login, and stores generated audio files
• OpenAI — generates the story text and converts it to audio; your child’s name and story preferences are sent to OpenAI for this purpose
• Stripe — processes subscription payments; we never receive your full card number
• Vercel — hosts the LolyTales website and app

These providers are based in or process data in the United States, so your information may be transferred there as part of running the Service.

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don’t currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

We keep your account information and your child’s details for as long as your account is active. If you’d like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at contact@redwebstudio.com and we’ll take care of it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us — we’ll respond as quickly as we can.

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including access controls that ensure your account data is only visible to you. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take this seriously.

We may update this policy as LolyTales evolves. We’ll update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we’ll try to notify you directly.
